Overdrive in synthesis is an effect that emphasizes signal saturation, creating a soft and natural distortion. It adds warmth and dynamic character to the sound, often emulating the overdrive of a driven analog circuit in synthesizers. 

A waveshaper is a synthesis tool that transforms the shape of an input waveform, altering its harmonic content to create diverse and complex sound textures.

The WAVEDRIVER module combines the characteristics of an overdrive and a waveshaper in a single unit. It provides controlled distortion and waveform manipulation, allowing the creation of saturated sounds and rich sonic textures in musical synthesis.

With the dual pot you can manage gain and treshold's clipping and with the small knob the strenght of the distortion, all parameters have a cv connector, so you can modulate all parameters with envelope generators or oscillators. 

Near the output connector there is a trimmer to adjust the output signal's intensity.
